Moab Guide
Moab for Adult Entertainment
I've returned to Moab several times. My Dad explored for uranium in the area in the 1950s. I've lived in the four corners region / Colorado Plateau area for a substantial period of time.
This book is not for extreme sports competitors. Similarly, this book is not for those trying to plan a trip around the wants of numerous young children. Other than that, this guide provides some great choices for adults who want to experience what Moab offers.
There really are too many things to do in the Moab area. This this guide will help you keep your choices to a manageable level. Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, along with 4WD, biking and hiking activities outside the parks offer an overwhelming array of things to do.
Specific areas of discussion include Arches National Park, Island in the Sky, Dead Horse Point State Park, Sand Flats Recreational Area, Biking trails, Scenic Drives, Petroglyphs, Jet Boat Tours, and so much more.
I included sections on the Fremont Culture, dinosaurs, and the Horseshoe Canyon (Barrier Canyon) Pictographs after my trip to Hanksville and Capitol Reef.
